GARDEN & HOUSE

Plants, gardens, people

When I was the editor of Gardens Illustrated magazine - dubbed ‘Vogue’ of the gardening press - I was constantly discovering new and exciting things. People seem to like it and I won some awards. But, if you couldn’t find a copy to buy in your local shop or you were away, you missed it. Long lead times also meant that the best stories often had to wait.

So, a newsletter about plants, people and gardens you might not have seen or heard of before feels like the obvious thing, threaded with stories from my own small city garden.
